Accessibility Statement

BoochBod is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

BoochBod is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Measures taken to support accessibility

BoochBod takes the following measures to support accessibility:

  • Include accessibility as part of our development process
  • Conduct regular accessibility audits using automated and manual testing
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities
  • Re-audit any template we redesign before it goes live
  • Publish this accessibility statement and a feedback channel for user reports

Technical specifications

Accessibility of BoochBod's website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • WAI-ARIA

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Assessment approach

BoochBod assessed the accessibility of its website using the following approaches:

  • Third-party expert evaluation by GEOMetric Studio
  • Automated accessibility testing tools including Google Lighthouse, axe DevTools and WAVE
  • Manual keyboard navigation testing on all primary purchase-path templates
  • Targeted screen reader spot-checking using VoiceOver and NVDA
  • Color contrast analysis against WCAG 2.1 Level AA thresholds

Most recent Lighthouse accessibility scores: product page 94 (21 September 2026); homepage 93 and cart 94 (22 April 2026).

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to resolve these issues. Below are the limitations we are aware of:

  1. Third-party review widget (Judge.me): The review display and submission forms injected by our reviews provider may have accessibility limitations that we cannot address directly in our theme. Where possible we have applied mitigations via theme-level overrides. If you encounter problems with reading or submitting reviews, please contact us and we can provide the review information in an alternative format or record your review on your behalf.
  2. Third-party subscription widget (Appstle): Some elements of the subscription controls are rendered by our subscriptions provider and may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. If you experience any difficulty subscribing, please contact us and we can assist you in completing your order.
  3. Customer-generated content: We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content submitted by customers (for example, product reviews) but we do review this content regularly.
  4. Customer testimonial videos: The short customer videos on our product page contain speech and do not yet have captions or transcripts. We are working on caption files for these videos. In the meantime, the key points from each video are also covered in the written customer reviews on the same page, and we can provide a transcript on request.
  5. Clinician banner and testimonials (FrontrowMD): The clinician endorsement banner, clinician profiles and the clinician Q&A assistant on our product page are delivered by a third-party provider inside embedded frames. We have labeled these frames for assistive technology, but their internal content is outside our direct control. If you have difficulty reading this information, please contact us and we will provide it in an alternative format.
  6. Marketing videos: Decorative homepage and marketing videos are marked as such for assistive technology.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

BoochBod's website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), TalkBack (Android)
  • Voice control: Dragon (Nuance), Windows Voice Access, macOS and iOS Voice Control
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200 percent
  • Reduced-motion preferences, plus an on-page control to pause moving content

The website is compatible with the following browsers:

  • Chrome (current and previous two versions)
  • Firefox (current and previous two versions)
  • Safari (current and previous two versions)
  • Edge (current and previous two versions)

The website is not designed for browsers older than these.
